Easter

Last weekend was Easter. I was lucky enough to find a ride back over to the West Side! Amazingly, the sun greeted me when I arrived, and I enjoyed a weekend full of sunshine, my own bed, lots of carbs, and family.

Dad, Maya, and I enjoyed an afternoon at Greenlake! I needed a little Seattle fix and it definitely did the trick. Although Maya still needs to learn what not barking means, she is still adorable. (Yes, I did wear a UW sweatshirt... my fellow Cougs weren't too pleased with my choices. But hey, I look good in purple and love reppin' my town!:)

After our afternoon stroll around the lake, the family (plus Grandma and Grandpa) headed to the Mukilteo Lighthouse and Beach for overpriced fish and chips and soft serve ice cream:)

Over all these years of me flinging my camera around to take self portraits, he's definitely learned.

Easter Sunday was an uneventful, but relaxing, morning at home before I packed up my bag and headed back over to the Palouse for the final stretch before summer. I've been counting down the days since January!

Mom is coming over in two days for WSU Mom's Weekend! I'm ready to wear matching sweatshirts and show her around this place I've been calling home for the past 9 months.
